The Beautiful White Sand Beach

Our weekend trip to Ganapatipule was built up over a period of time .After a lot of initial postponement, we (3 couples) rented a Innova and finally packed our bags to Ganapatipule on a weekend last to last week.

The drive from Mumbai to Ganapatipule takes at least 8 - 9 hours covering a distance of 375 kms. Although route is really scenic but it was really tiring.

When we reached there we were mesmerized by the view of the beach when traveling downhill towards the beach through the approach road. The view of the vast ocean covering kissing the horizon and the blue waters is breath taking and entices you to rush towards it for a dip.

Ganapatipule’s beaches is a pleasant place to de-stress yourself. This is a very idyllic beach. Sand is thick and white and the water is crystal clear. One cannot resist entering in water.
Our Resort Tranquility is the most sought after hotel in Ganapatipule due to its unique beach facing location and provides direct access to the beach. It sits on the side of a hill that faces the sea.

We gone for an early morning walk on the beach that energizes and stimulates your deepest senses……………here are few clicks from my camera!!

It's Always Hard To End A Relationship...

The emotional blow is very hard to deal with when a relationship falls apart. Even though you know it's the right thing to do. And if you didn't want it to happen, it is even more painful. It seems impossible to stop thinking about the memories you have shared together.

There is no easy way...And most of all we need an iron will and rock hard determination. The best way to do it is cold heartedly. Block the mail id so that the person you want to break off from, cannot mail you... Delete the phone numbers. Destroy photographs. or any sentimental gifts received. Do not look back. That is the only way.

It hurts like hell. But with time, the pain eases. The first day is always the hardest. Then, as the days go by, the pain eases and it becomes easier to remember the good times. a bit like facing death. Except that what is dead here is the relationship.

Getting over someone - I don't know...Actually I feel like we will never have the courage to live alone... We have always been so dependant on someone...and scared to sit alone on a weekend evening wondering what to do... I think...We got too insecure in our life (Although most of us have had a perfectly secure upbringing!).

I think when you are younger, it seems that way. When you push yourself then you discover your strengths--something even you weren't aware you were capable of.
If you discover a passion that is so intense then I guess, it will become easier for you to cope.

One has to take action if one feels that one's self respect is being compromised. If you endlessly wait for the phone to ring, hoping it will be your love? if you obsess about that person? If it affect your whole life. In the sense, does your whole life revolve around that one person? If so, it is time to end it.

And in the end you will be richer, though it doesn’t seem so at first...Eventually you will be glad you reclaimed your life and you will be glad that you can survive and be happy. Despite everything.

"Letting go of someone dear to you is hard, but holding on to someone who doesn't even feel the same is much harder. Giving up doesn't mean you are weak!
It only means that you are strong enough to let go!"

"I'm going to smile and make you think I'm happy, I'm going to laugh, so you don't see me cry, I'm going to let you go in style, and even if it kills me - I'm going to smile."

Stay Happy……….Stay Blessed….Come what may!!

Happy Birthday Ritzz!!!!

There are many views on birthdays. One school of thought thinks that a birthday is like any other day of the year—each day comes only once a year; So what is the big deal about a birthday? After all, it makes you a year older, and after one becomes an adult, I think most people dread birthdays.

The second school of thought believes that birthdays are truly special. We do not usually go all the way to our loved ones or even tell them that they matter, on a daily basis. We are so busy leading our hectic lives, that expressing things like these are pushed aside. A birthday is one day that you can really tell the person how much that person matters to you. It is a celebration because that person is special. Birthdays are only as special as the people who have them!

I belong to the second school of thought. If a person is important to me, I usually make a BIG effort to make the day truly special for them. Tomorrow is very special to me. It’s the birthday of the most important guy in my life—Ritesh.

This is the 2nd birthday of his that we will be celebrating together. And I will try to do something special for him.
So I am writing this post, to tell him how very special he is to me.
Happy birthday Ritesh !

"Happy Birthday Dear!
I am so lucky to have a hubby like you.
Every Month/Year with you is better than the last.
Hanging out with you is still my favorite thing to do.
Happy Birthday to my partner and my best friend.
My love for you grows and grows with each passing year.
I can't imagine living without you at my side.
Growing old with you is one of my favorite things to do.
Happy Birthday to the love of my life."

If you live to be a hundred I want to live to be a hundred minus one day,
so I never have to live without you.

Thank You!!!

I always wanted to say this.

I wanted to say ..”THANK YOU” to Mummy and Papa

…for everything they did since I was born.
…for forgiving me at least a 1000 times.
…for being on my side in the life’s tide.
…for loving me always like they do.
..for always appreciating me.

All I want to say is Thanks to the best Mummy and Papa in the world. I love you for everthing and apart from everything.I know you don’t read my blog and thats probably why I am writing this here ….

Wife: 'What are you doing?'
Husband: Nothing.
Wife: 'Nothing...? You've been reading our marriage certificate for an hour.'
Husband: 'I was looking for the expiration date.'
-------------------------------
Wife : 'Do you want dinner?'
Husband: 'Sure! What are my choices?'

Stress Reliever

Girl: 'When we get married, I want to share all your worries, troubles and lighten your burden.'

Husbands are husbands

A man was sitting reading his papers when his wife hit him round the head with a frying pan.
'What was that for?' the man asked.
The wife replied 'That was for the piece of paper with the name Jenny on it that I found in your pants pocket'
The man then said 'When I was at the races last week Jenny was the name of the horse I bet on.' The wife apologized and went on with the housework..
Three days later the man is watching TV when his wife bashes him on the head with an even bigger frying pan, knocking him unconscious. Upon re-gaining consciousness the man asked why she had hit him again.
Wife replied. 'Your horse phoned.'

Aag Jalni Chaiye...........

I just heard this poem today again after a long time. This is one of the best collection in my old diary by Dushaynt Kumar. Very Insipirational....

(Dushyant Kumar)

Burnt Biscuit

When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite.

Tittle---Tattle

"Precious are those moments when you can make someone you care about truly happy.....try it..........gives huge satisfaction."

What I'm thinking!!

LIFE is like playing chess with God.
After every move of ours, he makes the next move.
Our moves are called CHOICES & his moves are called CONSEQUENCES.!!

This Too Shall Pass

This Too Shall Pass’ is at the heart of my understanding of things. I pair it in my mind with the words of the wise old man of Ecclesiastes, who said ,” There is nothing new under the sun “.

Someone once said that at the heart of each victory is future defeat , and at the heart of each defeat is a future victory. Everything changes. Everything moves onward, nothing is ‘stable’.

We can rely on just one unchanging thing: the inevitability of change. This perspective can help you get through the bad times. People tend to think,’ This is too shall pass’, in bad times. But it applies to good times, too,and perhaps more valuably. It helps sharpen your pleasure in the moment. God luck and good times should be seized, enjoyed, reveled in, for they won’t be here forever, and it would be ungrateful not to appreciate them while they are.

My career was kind of low and depressing for a while. Nothing that I was doing was working. I thought, ‘This is a bad time. I have to keep doing my work, keep attempting to produce something that is meaningful and that I respect. Then I became so engaged by my work and my thoughts that I sort of forgot to remember that I was in bad times. I started believing I was in a peaceful time, with fewer demands. I could find more coherence, more depth, in the other spheres of my life.

Then good times came, as good times will. Though it was not on career front it was on personal front. I thought : ‘Great, keep going, by the way, let’s go to a nice restaurant and toast my god fortune, But when you know this too shall pass, it has a way of tempering your ego. You’re not doing well because you are the best at what you do. You’re doing well because you are still trying to do good work, and a good time came and lifted it up.

So next time happiness comes your way, take a moment to send a little thank you note, pause to breathe in the joy before it disappears into infinity.

All this applies in one’s personal life of course. If we are alone. People will enter our life. If we are surrounded by friends. Someday it will be less crowded around us. If we ever have a broken heart. It will heal. Everything changes.

All we have to do is the best we can. A high wave comes,a crushing waves comes, a gentle swell follows. Whatever comes, stay in your boat. And enjoy the ride. And row.

Mere Chahre Ki Udasi Ko Jeevan Ki Thakan Mat Samjho....

Really Sweet

From one of my childhood friend..................

Yadoon Se..

Jeevan Ke IseMod Per

Holding Hands....

Here is a short story with a beautiful message...
Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,
'Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.'
The little girl said, 'No, Dad. You hold my hand.'
'What's the difference?' Asked the puzzled father.
'There's a big difference,' replied the little girl.
'If I hold your hand and something happens to me,
chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens,
you will never let my hand go.'
In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind,
but in its bond.

So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold
yours...
This message is too short......but carries a lot of Feelings.

I really want a big change!!

Things change.People change.Life changes.Everything at some point changes.Sometimes its good and sometimes it's bad.
Things happen beyond our comtrol. We can change the way we react or behave but we can’t change others.
You can change yourself through healing from past hurts and things done against you, but the facts of what’s been before can’t change.
Let changes not interfere in the life we lead.It would be a waste of time if we could follow a perfectly calculated plan.
What has happened has happened..concentrate on here and now..
I am eagerly waiting to "Winds of Change"!!!

PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY!

Professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it.

He held it up for all to see & asked the students

"How much do you think this glass weighs?"

'50gms!' ..... '100gms!' .....'125gms' ...the students answered.

"I really don't know unless I weigh it," said the professor, "but, my question is:

What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?"

'Nothing' …..the students said. '

Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' the professor asked.

'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the student

"You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?"

"Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis & have to go to hospital for sure!" ….. ventured another student & all the students laughed

"Very good.

But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?" asked the professor.

'No'…. Was the answer.

"Then what caused the arm ache & the muscle stress?" The students were puzzled.

"What should I do now to come out of pain?" asked professor again.

"Put the glass down!" said one of the students

"Exactly!" said the professor.

Life's problems are something like this.
Hold it for a few minutes in your head & they seem OK.

Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache.
Hold it even longer & they begin to paralyze you.

You will not be able to do anything.
It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life,

But EVEN MORE IMPORTANT is to 'PUT THEM DOWN' at the end of every day before You go to sleep.....

That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh &strong & can handle any issue,
any challenges that comes your way.

So, when you leave office today, Remember my friend -- 'PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY!"

Wonderful story................

I found this story worth sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Priya married Hitesh this day. At the end of the wedding party,
Priya's mother gave her a newly opened bank saving passbook.
With Rs.1000 deposit amount.
Mother: 'Priya, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your marriage
life. When there's something happy and memorable happened in your new
life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the line. The
more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the
first one for you today. Do the others with Hitesh. When you look back
after years, you can know how much happiness you've had.'
Priya shared this with Hitesh when getting home. They both thought it
was a great idea and were anxious to know when the second deposit can be
made.

This was what they did after certain time:
- 7 Feb: Rs.100, first birthday celebration for Hitesh after marriage
- 1 Mar: Rs.300, salary raise for Priya
- 20 Mar: Rs.200, vacation trip to Bali
- 15 Apr: Rs.2000, Priya got pregnant
- 1 Jun: Rs.1000, Hitesh got promoted
..... and so on...

However, after years, they started fighting and arguing for trivial
things. They didn't talk much. They regretted that they had married the
most nasty people in the world.... no more love...Kind of typical
nowadays, huh?

One day Priya talked to her Mother:
'Mom, we can't stand it anymore. We agree to divorce. I can't imagine how
I decided to marry this guy!!!'
Mother: 'Sure, girl, that's no big deal. Just do whatever you want if you
really can't stand it. But before that, do one thing first. Remember the
saving passbook I gave you on your wedding day? Take out all money and
spend it first. You shouldn't keep any record of such a poor marriage.'

Priya thought it was true. So she went to the bank, waiting at the queue
and planning to cancel the account.
While she was waiting, she took a look at the passbook record. She looked,
and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joy and
happiness just came up her mind. Her eyes were then filled with tears. She
left and went home.

When she was home, she handed the passbook to Hitesh, asked him to spend
the money before getting divorce.
The next day, Hitesh gave the passbook back to Priya. She found a new
deposit of Rs.5000. And a line next to the record: 'This is the day I
notice
how much I've loved you thru out all these years. How much happiness
you've brought me.'
They hugged and cried, putting the passbook back to the safe.

Do you know how much money they had saved when they retired? I did not
ask.I believe the money did not matter any more after they had gone thru
all the good years in their life.

Zeitgeist !!

Zeitgeist
I read this word somewhere and don’t know why but it sounds very interesting.
Zeitgeist [tsyt‐gyst], the German word for ‘time‐spirit’, more often translated as ”the spirit of the age”. It usually refers to the prevailing mood or attitude of a given period.

The spirit of the times; the dominant beliefs of a particular period. The term is usually applied to the study of literature, but it has also been applied to sport (for example, in connection with the current belief that winning is all that matters).
Sound really interesting na!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Things we can learn from Dil Chahta Hai!!!!!!

  • Freaking out and enjoying life doesn’t need drugs or cigarettes.

  • There are relationships apart from bf/gf and friendship, that can be very emotional and true, which is beyond the understanding of many people.

  • And yeah even though you may be the best of friends there is always a limit which should never be crossed. Then it starts hurting………..
  • Improving U r imperfections after you realize it, always take some time.
  • You always don’t need to show or prove your gf/bf how much you love or care about her/him, which can sound very boring and finally get you dumped.
  • Believe in Love. True love will never let you down.
  • Never be ashamed to go back to your old friends, friends are there to understand your mistakes.

        • Do not be afraid of others, always think that others are afraid of you. (remember the Australian Beggar at the railway station.)

        • Whenever you need your friend, remember that he is just a phone call away… distance can’t separate friends.

        • In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

        • It’s the friends you can call up at 4 A. M. that matter.
        • The only unchangeable certainty is that nothing is certain or unchangeable.

        • The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit with on a porch and swing with, and never say a word, and then walk away feeling it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.

        • And last but not the least- do what your heart loves.. Karo wahi jo, DIL CHAHTA HAI !!!

Tongue Twisters!

I always enjoy to speak different Tongue Twisters every time from my childhood days. I have collected few difficult words in my diary.
Basically a Tongue Twisters is a phrase or sentence which is hard to speak fast, usually because of alliteration or a sequence of nearly similar sounds. It actually helps to develop speech skills & helps in speech therapy.
Here are some cool Tongue Twisters from my collection, have fun !
  • If you notice this notice, you will notice that this notice is not worth noticing.
  • If you tell Tom to tell a tongue-twister his tongue will be twisted as tongue-twister twists tongues.
  • I thought a thought.But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought.If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

  • Gopi Gope Gupangam Das .
  • Betty Botter bought some butter, but she said "this butter's bitter! But a bitof better butter will but make my butter better" So she bought some betterbutter, better than the bitter butter, and it made her butter better so 'twasbetter Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter!
  • The sixth sick Sheik's sixth sheep is sick.[Described as the hardest tongue-twister in the English language.]
Mr. See owned a saw,
And Mr. Soar owned a seesaw.
Now, See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw
Before Soar saw See,
Which made Soar sore.
Had Soar seen See's saw
Before See sawed Soar's seesaw,
See's saw would not have sawed
Soar's seesaw.
So See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw.
But it was sad to see Soar so sore
just because See's saw sawed
Soar's seesaw.

Autumn......

Got these pics in a mail...............it reminds me a poem I read some where long time back....

Just remember few lines..................trying to remember may be can add later on....

Pretty leaves are falling down,
Green, orange, yellow and brown.
Here comes one colored red,
It landed on my head

Leaves in the Fall come tumbling down,
Scarlet and yellow, russet and brown,
Leaves in the garden are swept in a heap,
The trees are ready for sleep.

One Word Description.....

I got this message from one of my friend:

"Describe me in ONE WORD...just one word! Send it to me only, then send this message to your friends and see how many strange things people say about you!"

I send it to all my friends.
The words that came back about me were:

Smile,Intelligent,Talented,Candid,Sweet,Faithful,Lovable,Mine,Hopeful,Best Friend,
Tough,Jolly,Caring ;also wrote that one word is not enough to describe you:-)

Memories.............

By: Elvis Presley
Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine

Quiet thought come floating down
And settle softly to the ground
Like golden autumn leaves around my feet
I touched them and they burst apart with sweet memories,
Sweet memories.

Of holding hands and red bouquets
And twilight trimmed in purple haze
And laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine,
Memories, memories, sweet memories

Sea Shore Shell Sells........

A wonderful picture of Sea shore with a morning sunrise walk ………..

Reminds me of the popular Tongue Twister:

She sells sea shells on the sea shore;
The shells that she sells are sea shells I'm sure.
So if she sells sea shells on the sea shore,
I'm sure that the shells are sea shore shells.

When You Say Nothing At All

"When You Say Nothing at All" was Keating's first solo single outside the confines of popular Irish group Boyzone. He recorded it in 1999 for the soundtrack of the film Notting Hill. The song would also appear on Keating's solo debut album Ronan the following year.

Keating's version of "When You Say Nothing at All" was released as a single in the third quarter of 1999 and reached number one on the UK chart. It also reached the top position in Ireland. In the UK, the single was certified gold.

In 2003, he re-recorded the single as a duet with Mexican singer Paulina Rubio, which was released in Mexico and Latin America to promote a hits compilation.
Here the song………….

When You Say Nothing At All.......
By: Ronan Keating

It’s amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word, you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don’t say a thing

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There’s a truth in your eyes saying you’ll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you’ll catch me when ever I fall
You say it best..when you say nothing at all

All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd (the crowd)
Try as they may they can never define
What’s been said between your heart and mine

you say it best when you say nothing at all
You say it best when you say nothing at all..

The smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Let’s me know that you need me..

you say it best when you say nothing at all
You say it best when you say nothing at all..

The smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Let’s me know that you need me..

you say it best when you say nothing at all You say it best when you say nothing at all..
